About me
Skylar Baker-Jordan is a 25 year old writer who, in June 2011, moved to Chicago from the sleepy southern town of Bowling Green, Kentucky. As he works on his first book, a memoir of the fateful year before his move and the events which propelled him north, he has set out to document his life in Chicago for friends and family back home using characteristic humor and honesty, coupled with insightful and whimsical looks into what he calls "gay world." Columns will be published twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday, unless otherwise noted), with guerrilla blogging happening 24/7.
